Green Links Las Vegas

This weeks, Green Links Las Vegas, starts with an article written by Yuka Yoneda and Jull Fehrebacker for inhabitat. Amazing what a little vision can produce. New York’s High Line Park opened recently; it is an elevated park built on an old rail system.

You probably never thought that you could turn pig waste green; appears that you can. This article entitled “The Power of Pigs” comes from ecosalon.

When I lived in Seattle recycling was becoming a very big issue. You were expected to do your part in helping the environment. Seattle went mandatory on recycling in 2006. San Francisco, which has a 70% recycling rate, is now focusing on food scraps! They figure they can get their recycling rate up to 90%. Las Vegas, well, we all know that story.

Some scientists think that we can save the environment in a relatively short period of time. Some thinks it’s too late. Jeff Kart’s post in CleanTechnic.com addresses some of the issues.
